I am most interested in painting the human form. I aim to simplify the figure, as well as the environment it occupies, in effort to give higher meaning to the elements that reside in my work.

Jacobs gained world recognition after completing his fine art portrait of Senator Barack Obama, entitled "Someday has come", during his campaign for President in 2008. Subsequently, Jacobs painted this portrait of comedian-actor Bill Murray in 2015 entitled "There's Always Hope".
